Editor’s note: We haven’t had a sketch-date from Colin in a while – but for good reason! Colin was hard at work all summer preparing for a solo exhibition of his paintings at Dowling Walsh Gallery in Rockland. The show opened at the beginning of the month, just in time for father and daughter to regain focus for the competition of the year: The Little Lobster Diaper Derby. Audrey was moving so fast Colin didn’t have time to sketch her.

Delicious! I mean, um…cute! I happen to know how tall the dad is; that girl’s getting quite a view. Plus everybody wins because next Halloween & Lobsterfest are covered, costume-wise. Suddenly I’m craving corn on the cob & clarified butter right now…
Yeah Corey, she is adorable and was a hit at Lobsterfest. She likes having a bird’s eye view, but I think it makes her mom a little nervous when I have her all the way up there. But Audrey loves it.
