painting and text by Colin Page

All summer these schooners are in and out of the harbor as they take people out for trips to the islands in Penobscot Bay. This spring I saw them getting the boats ready and took advantage of the time they spent docked in the harbor to paint them. It is always a fun challenge to try to get the shape of a boat sitting in water, and in this case to have each boat read with its own personality.
