Tuesday 207

paintings by Jessica Stammen

Happy October, Tuesday 207 fans! The seasons are changing and it’s going to take me a couple weeks to build up a fall appropriate body of work. While you wait I thought it might be nice to show you that I can, in fact, make paintings larger than 4×4 inches! And while my panel sizes may change, my love of Maine adventure-based subject matter remains as consistent and as our 207 area code.

This week, enjoy the memory of a fall hike with friends, a refreshing ocean swim around Curtis Island, a foggy lake paddle, and a shining day of hockey on a neighbor’s pond. All works are oil on panel and measure 6×6 inches. Fair market value for each is $600 but this week only I am offering them for auction starting at $480 on Daily Paintworks, the site where I normally post my 207 paintings. Clicking on any of the images above or below will take you to their respective auction pages.

Next week I will feature a selection of 5×7 inch works, followed by 8×10 and 10×10 inch works. It’s a nice way to review the year’s painting adventures and efforts thus far — and offer a nice deal on larger works I don’t normally post. Enjoy!

Tuesday 207 paintings are exclusive to The Maine. They depict the land, the light and the people that make this state a state of wonder. Visit the growing gallery of Tuesday 207 paintings here.
