Tuesday 207

paintings by Jessica Stammen

Welcome back to the second installment of Tuesday 207 in transition! The seasons are changing and it’s going to take me a couple weeks to build a fall appropriate body of work. While you wait I thought I’d show you that I can, in fact, make paintings larger than 4×4 inches! And while my panel sizes may change, my love of Maine adventure-based subject matter remains as consistent as our 207 area code.

This week, enjoy a brilliant early morning on Megunticook Lake, a swimmer’s chilly hesitation to join a friend, two paddlers in a moment of reflective pause, and the quiet of a summer cabin as night falls. All works are oil on panel and measure 5×7 inches. Fair market value for each is $600 but this week only I am offering them for auction starting at $480 on Daily Paintworks, the site where I normally post my 207 paintings. Clicking on any of the images above or below will take you to their respective auction pages.

Next week I will feature a selection of 8×10 inch works. Last week’s 6×6 inch works can be seen here. I’m enjoying this opportunity to review the year’s painting adventures and efforts thus far — and offer a nice deal on larger works I don’t normally post. Enjoy!
